Birthday Traditions

"happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you..." I don't know about you, but, some of my best memories are those of my childhood birthdays. I recently happened upon what I consider to be a wonderful product. The dirtroad gem of a find is THE BIRTHDAY INTERVIEW. You can check out their site at http://www.thebirthdayinterview.com/ . I am sad to say that as I think back over the past five years with my son, there are things that I have already forgotten about those special moments. That is going to stop this year!

Dirtroad Sisters is happy to announce that we will be offering this fanciful find to our customers. If you are interested in purchasing one for yourself or to share as a gift with someone else please let us know.

Smiles!

Hey Y'all...

Wow! I just got an e-mail from Ethan Fowler, Features Editor for the Albany Herald. I am so excited! I thought who better to celebrate with than all of you! I LOVE personalized stationery and LOVE knowing that other people are using my paper!

As you can all imagine the Southwest Corner of Georgia is extremely small and rural. The largest city in our region is Albany, Georgia. So, naturally that is where the regional paper comes out of.

Well, they have contacted me about doing a feature article on Dirtroad Sisters! The reporter is going to set up the interview for the first part of July...they'll come out to our house/studio and do pictures and everything!

When my sister and I started at my kitchen table with our hobby...we had NO idea that we would one day have our own web site, sell to retail stores, and share our products with customers around the world!

This gives me hope that the small people can make it too! Dehlia & I both work full-time day jobs with enjoying Dirtroad Sisters on the side!

Thanks for letting me share!

Smiles!

Personalized Stationery by Dirtroad Sisters

As long as I can remember, I have enjoyed going to the mailbox to retrieve the day’s post. I recall my letter writing beginning in the fourth grade with a pen-pal from New York. Notes in class and love-letters were always fun throughout school. While away at college, I frequently wrote letters back home to family and friends. Now, I especially enjoy writing those loved one who are in different parts of the country.
